The Sunbeam Tiger is best know as Maxwell Smarts cruiser of choice in the hit TV Spoof Spy Series 'Get Smart', in some episodes it even featured a retractable James Bond-style machine gun!

it's not hard to see why the Sunbeam Tiger was such a hit.

Based off the Sunbeam Alpine Roadster, a very popular British Sports Car, the Tiger MK1 is the much more aggressive big brother. With a collaboration between Sunbeam and Carroll Shelby the Tiger MK1 was born featuring a Ford Produced 260ci (4.2L Ford V8), giving this small sports car the punch it needed to tackle the market head on.

The 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Roadster is a special model that was built from 12/1964-1967. Production numbers were around 6500, all fitted with 4.2L V8 Ford engine.

This immaculate example was imported from the U.S.A to New Zealand in 2007, and had only 1 owner in the US (Airforce), since then it has only had 2 owners. The last being 13 Years. It presents in suburb condition and features a Rare Factory Hard Top (Soft Top Also) and Hitachi Radio. The Original Owners Handbook is like new, and sits nicely next to the Original Owners Service Book, as well as other Supporting Documentation.
