Modern power. Classic heritage. One of only 500 built worldwide, this GT2 RS directly traces its lineage back to the racing pedigree of the Porches of yesteryear, and was, at the time, the most powerful, road legal 911 built.
The GT2 RS features a 3.6-litre engine which uses twin variable-geometry water cooled turbochargers to produce a thunderous 620bhp, giving the car a top speed in excess of 330km/h and a 0-100 time of just 3.4 seconds. Transfering that power to the road is a six speed manual transmission, delivering 516lbs-feet of torque. This would be the last GT2 RS to feature a manual gearbox.
Porche had cracked a winning combination – taking their most powerful, turbo-charged engine, pairing it with a manual gearbox, in the body of a light-weight, rear wheel drive 911.
