Description

We are proud to present to you this 1976 MV Augusta 750 S America.

MV Agusta is a high-end motorcycle manufacturer founded by Count Domenico Agusta on 19 January 1945 as one of the branches of the Agusta aircraft company near Milan in Cascina Costa, Italy.

With 75 World Championships (riders and manufacturers), 270 Grand Prix victories, and more than 3000 International race wins, MV Agusta's competition record is unequalled. MV’s list of World Champions includes some of the greatest names in the sport, such as Carlo Ubbiali, John Surtees, Mike Hailwood, Giacomo Agostini and Phil Read. In addition to its racing success, MV would go on to produce some of the most beautiful and exotic road bikes, including the legendary 750 S America.

Perhaps the pinnacle of the MV road bikes is the 750 S America, an exotic four-cylinder road bike derived from MV’s competition bikes. With just 540 manufactured, the MV 750 S America is now one of the most collectable motorcycles in the world. This usually low mileage and pampered MV Agusta 750 S America comes from the England where it was originally sold by the UK MV Agusta’s premier specialists “MV Meccanica Verghera” located in Birmingham.

This MV 750 S America has been maintain at “cost no option” including a complete overhaul in the early 2000s with receipts for £11,742 - parts costing £7,822 and labour at £3,290 or AUD$21,300 twenty years ago.

Prior to travelling to Australia in early 2023, the MV 750 S America was returned to MV Meccanica Verghera in Birmingham for service and health check, where it was shown to be in perfect mechanical order.
