The 220S represented Mercedes’ effort to build more full-size luxury cars to complement their well-acclaimed SL models at the time. However, of the very few 1,251 220S Coupes produced, very few ever left the factory in Right-Hand Drive configuration.

Having been first purchased here in Melbourne in March 1960, this 220S coupe holds a rich history and was well loved by its previous owners. Having undergone no major restorative work, and verified to retain all its original matching numbers, this Mercedes is poised to hold a treasured place in any collection.
Its original equipment, all maintained to perfect operational condition includes:
