1963 Hillman Super Minx

Dutton Garage, for the 1st time, is very proud to present this immaculate 1963 Hillman Super Minx Convertible. Finished in Powder Blue, Framed by Period Silver/Polished Minilite Style Wheels, with a Black Vinyl Top, Over a Soft Light Blue Cabin, a very desirable combination of colours and finishes.

Peter Langwill Autos (N.S.W) sold this Hillman new on the 4th of April 1964. At the time a 54' Morris Minor was traded. The owner of this Super Mix from new was Warren Dood, he owned it all the way up until 1983 when he sold it to a workmate. A great 20 year tale. Only 3 others have served custodian to this Super Minx since then. The last importing it from Melbourne to New Zealand in 2013. It has since been Inspected, Complied, and Registered for use on New Zealand Roads.

This Super Minx presents in absolutely immaculate condition, and drives just as well as it looks. Fitted with the 1725cc Motor, 4 Speed Manual Gearbox (With Electric Overdrive), and Webber Side Draft Carbs, it drives with a pep in its step and sounds the part too! The Owners have kept all relevant paperwork including the Original Sales Agreement and Registration Paperwork from 64'.
