1972 CITROEN DS 19 SPECIAL

Introduced to the public at the Paris motor show in 1955, the Citroen DS19 Special had evolutionary body design, the work of Flaminio Bertoni, a front engine (1980cc), and front wheel drive, making it a top shelf luxury sedan.

Originally noted for its aerodynamic, futuristic body design and innovative technology, the DS set new standards in ride quality, handling, and braking. Additionally, it was the first production car equipped with disc brakes.
