The very first Porsche turbos were built between 1975 and 1977 in a limited number of just over 2,800 cars. They had 3.0 litre engines based on racing technology, and became one of the first Supercars. Needless to say, there are not many examples left today, and they are extremely sought after, especially the even rarer right hand drive models.
The factory right hand drive car we have available here is stunning in Grand Prix white with Martini stripes, celebrating Porsches victory in the 1976 World Championship of Makes. Full blue interior with leather sports seats contrasts and complements the exterior perfectly. The car has recently undergone a sympathetic cosmetic and mechanical restoration, complete with receipts and Certificate of Authenticity, and would make the ultimate centrepiece of any significant Porsche collection.
