The first “G” series, and range topping 911 model from 1974 was the Carrera 2.7. Utilising the same type 911/83 engine from the iconic Carrera 2.7 RS that preceded it, and also built in similarly low numbers, he Carrera 2.7 is today an extremely sought after model.
The example we have available is an Australian Delivered 1974 Ducktail Carrera targa MFI, originally delivered to Chateau Moteur in South Australia and resplendent in its original Mexico blue. With a manual gearbox and sports bucket seats, it retains its matching numbers, and presents a rare opportunity for the enthusiast.
Today it sits as an outstanding example of one of Porsches best models. A must see for the Porsche collector.
