1996 Ferrari F50

Released to celebrate Ferraris 50th Anniversary, the F50 promised a Formula 1 for the road experience.

The press releases were right, as the F50 was equipped with a detuned derivative of the 4.7 litre V12 that powered the Ferrari 641s of Alain Prost and Nigel Mansell from the 1990 Formula 1 World Championship. This engine, and a no compromise approach to the rest of the car meant the F50 delivered driving enjoyment on an unparalleled level.

After decades of being overshadowed by its stablemates, the F50 is now celebrated as one of the greatest cars to leave Maranello. With only 349 examples ever built, it is rarer than the F40, the Enzo, and the LaFerrari. Having had only one owner guarantees another level of exclusivity.

Australian delivered new from Lance Dixon Ferrari on November 1996. (The factory Ferrari authorised dealer.)

Previously owned by one extremely fastidious owner and was kept in a private collection since new.
