The Aston Martin DB5 is a British luxury grand tourer that was made by Aston Martin and designed by the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera.

Known around the world, the Aston Martin DB5 is often billed as the most famous car ever produced, thanks to the deadly Silver-Birch DB5 that was used by James Bond in Goldfinger, and in the process becoming many schoolboy’s dream car

We are proud to offer this Concours Winning DB5 for sale. Before arriving in our London showroom, this DB5 was the pride and joy of the same owner in New Zealand since 1988. In the early 2000’s this Aston Martin received a total itemised restoration by Pebble Beach winning specialists, Auto Restorations. This restoration was fully documented and an additional folder created entirely from photographs and invoices detailing the work carried out accompany the car. The original owner’s manual, parts book and an Aston Martin Heritage Certificate are also supplied with this iconic British classic.

Our car is a superb, matching numbers DB5 finished beautifully in Silver Birch with a contrasting Black roof, complemented with a superb Red Connolly hide interior. Being a Concours winning car the paintwork is stunning, as are all the Chrome details and other brightwork. Inside, the DB5 emanates style and luxury, the beautiful Red leather provides an extremely comfortable and stylish ride. Unworn Red Wilton carpets complete the incredible finish of the whole car.

Chrome wire wheels with three-eared spinners complement the vehicles colour and enhance its stunning appearance.

Gear changes are smooth and provide one of the best of driving experiences any classic car enthusiast could wish for. This is more than just a collector’s car; the DB5 is a vehicle that is ready to be enjoyed and this example is one of the very best you will find. Also the original specification confirms the fitment of a heated rear window and Motorola radio.
