The Ferrari 575M Superamerica was a convertible version of the 575M Maranello; it featured an electrochromic glass panel roof which rotated 180° (both are production car firsts) at the rear to lie flat over the boot, which transforms it from a coupé to a convertible in just a few seconds.
Exclusive and unmistakably Pininfarina-designed, the Superamerica is named after a very famous series of limited edition 12-cylinder models built by Ferrari between 1956 and 1961. In line with this illustrious past, the Superamerica was also a limited edition car, with Ferrari manufacturing just 559 examples of these it is thought that just 57 were supplied to the UK.
This absolutely stunning, modern classic Ferrari 575 Superamerica comes with the highly sought Fiorano Handling package. Finished beautifully in Nero with Crema hide, the interior is just as exclusive as the exterior, with meticulously handcrafted Crema hide and carbon-fibre detailing for the roof switches, the car radio surround and the instrument display. Ferrari’s elegant glass and carbon fibre roof allows sunlight to stream into the vehicle, it is a truly excellent vehicle to experience.
Our Ferrari Superamerica was sold new in the UK on 04/09/2006 and comes with a main dealer service history as well as the original book pack and Ferrari toolkit. Having travelled a mere 15,300 miles this is a fantastic opportunity to own one of these rare limited production and highly regarded open top Ferraris.
