Description

The construction of all Continental GTs evokes the architectural style of Victorian houses and carries a weight akin to them. Consequently, the presumption is that their handling would be comparable to that of such houses. However, the reality is quite different, as these vehicles showcase an astounding level of agility and driving enjoyment, especially when considering the more dynamic Supersports variant.

In 2017, the Bentley Continental Supersports not only claimed the title of the fastest and most powerful Bentley of its time but also held the distinction of being the most driver-focused model. Positioned at the pinnacle of the Continental GT lineup, its specifications are nothing short of remarkable: 522 kW of power, an impressive 1017 Nm of torque, a weight of 2280 kg, and a top speed of 337 km/h.

Channeling power to all four wheels through an eight-speed automatic transmission, the substantial 6-litre twin-turbo W12 engine underwent extensive revisions. These enhancements encompassed the integration of new intake and exhaust systems, larger turbochargers, and fortified conrod bearings. As a result of these improvements, the Supersports can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in a mere 3.4 seconds.

To counteract its substantial mass, the Supersports employs a torque vectoring system and is equipped with carbon ceramic brakes as standard, contributing to an overall weight reduction of 22 kg and rounding out the comprehensive package.

We’re excited to bring to the market this 2017 Bentley Continental GT Superport in Anthracite Metallic over a Tri-Colour interior of Beluga, Linen & Hot Spur. Originally delivered to Bentley Model. The car has travelled 8163 kms.

Distinctive deviations from the standard Continental GTs include carbon fibre trim, a new front bumper featuring a carbon fibre splitter, and a rear aerodynamic diffuser. Brightware elements transition to gloss black, adorning the front grille, rear bumper, door handles, and window surrounds. The headlamps and rear lights adopt a dark tint.

Carbon fibre graces the side sill extension and bonnet vents, while the front wing vents assume a gloss black finish, as do the rifled exhaust pipe finishers. The performance-focused aesthetic is completed by Supersports badging and 21" alloy wheels finished in gloss black with machined surfaces.

When cruising on open roads, the Supersports adeptly manages its considerable weight. It exhibits admirable suspension compliance over bumps, while the steering remains light, precise, and devoid of any play, effectively mitigating the sense of mass and inertia. The discreet torque vectoring system subtly influences the handling, bestowing a sense of eagerness upon corner entry and resolute traction upon acceleration out of corners.
