1971 BMW 3.0 CSi (CSL Replica)

Dutton Garage, for the 1st time, is very proud to present this stunning 1971 BMW 3.0 CSi, Finished in BMW Black, with the Famous Motorsport Stripes, Highlighted by Classic 16 Inch BBS Alloy Wheels, with a Full Motorsport Cabin, this CSi really looks the part, and has history to accompany!

This CSi has been a racecar from day dot and was raced at Macau and Bira during its younger days. The car came to New Zealand in 1999 and raced at a few classic meetings before being turned into a Targa car, then running in Targa for a few years. The car proudly led the field at the NZ Festival of Speed BMW Tribute Event at Hampton Downs in 2016 and features on the cover of the commemorative book.

The car looks fantastic in Black with Motorsport Stripes and has a complete CSL Body Kit installed. The Tripple Mikuni Carbs and Stainless Exhaust makes this CSi sounds as good as it looks! The car is certified for all modifications and can be registered for use on New Zealand roads with an MSNZ Authority Card.

The previous owner has had this CSi since 2015 and it has been dry stored during his ownership.
The car is solid and is mechanically sound. As you’d expect from a car of this age, there are dents and scrapes and it is far from concourse condition, but it is a racecar, a very period example!
