This Hot Rod is based on the famous Ricky Nelson ’32 Roadster that he drove in a few episodes of “The Ozzie and Harriet Show”.
Built with absolutely no expense spared by one of the world’s well-renowned classic car builder/restorers, Peter Leech. He has had many of his restorations represented at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.

- The chassis and cowl was from an original car that was Australian delivered new. The flat-head engine was supplied by Jim Robinson at Hightech who has an engine reconditioning business in Palm Springs.
- The engine is one that he built for his own pickup, it has a stroked seat cam shaft and large bore.
