Description

Dutton Garage, for the 1st time, is very proud to present this stunning 1964 Fiat Bambina 695SS Replica, finished in Fiat White, Contrasted by Abarth Decals, with Gold Alloys, and a Red/Black Cabin, with Black Carpets, an eye catching colour combination for quite the pocket rocket!

With quite the story to tell this stunning little pocket rocket is registered as a 1964 Fiat Bambina BUT... the story goes that she actually began life as a 1961 Fiat 500D assembled locally by Torino Motors in Otahuhu (hence reverse opening doors used on earlier models).
In 1957 renowned Italian tuner Carlo Abarth had released his first 'hot rod' upgrade kit for the Fiat 500 which turned them into the 595 SS (or Essesse) and it is believed this was one of 2 cars that were converted to 595 SS spec using Abarth crate kits from new for competition use. The car was not registered for road use until 1964 and was later upgraded again to 695 SS spec with greater engine power and wide track with flared wheel arches.

For the last decade the car has been owned and lovingly revived by a passionate Abarth enthusiast and now is your chance to secure what must surely be one of the coolest and most iconic Italian micro cars ever!

With genuine Abarth factory built 695 SS models now selling overseas in excess of $120,000 this represents great buying for a car with such a story to tell.
