Looking for a classic Amilcar for sale?
From 1921 to 1940 the Amilcar was a French car manufacturer. Its name derives from an 'almost' anagram of the surnames of the company's founders: Joseph Lamy and Emile Akar.
The first Amilcar vehicles were actually two-seater cyclecars produced to benefit from low road tax offered for such lightweight vehicles.
The marque later expanded into touring cars, but for us, the quintessential Amilcar is the Compound.
